About

David Rohr began his art career in Brainerd, MN at Brainerd Sr. High. Music was always his passion, but a senior elective to fill out a schedule revealed the gift of visual art lying dormant within.

In 1988 he was accepted to Concordia College, Moorehead and began an art education degree. Financial pressures prevented a return to Concordia and the following year David studied art at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. The following year brought with it more change and David stayed in the Brainerd area and attended Central Lakes College studying under Evelyn Matthies. 1990 brought with it a final transfer to Bemidji State University where he completed his Bachelors Degree in Design Technology.

In the summer of 1992 David landed a paid internship to CTS Creative Graphics in Minneapolis and was hired that fall as a graphic artist. While at CTS, David explored 3D modeling and animation which lead to a position in Bursville, MN at Skyline Displays in the custom trade show design group. He was later promoted to Skyline Digital Images to manage the Information Systems. A move to Virginia in 1997 landed David at Professional Printing Center as the Director of Technology where he worked until July of 2011.

A trip to Bethel Church in 2009 rekindled a passion for fine art and the result is the work displayed on this site.
